Spring cleaning

Just a little attempt in catching up on what I've left behind two months ago - a little spring clean that finally got rid of the deer in my entrance area, and exchanged them for something more seasonal.
Because it's good to be home after the longest time. I'm still clumsy and not able to perform many tasks that seemed the most self evident thing on Earth until recently, but I certainly hope that I'll be able to gain full independence soon.
The current spring arrangement includes a couple of branches I picked along the way (first time outside without a walking aid, yay!). Put together in a small vase, they resemble the bloom outside, however, I decided to not add any colourful flowers. Instead, I replaced the winter decoration with a assortment of disinfectant, a mask, and gloves. I don't plan any major grocery shopping as I stocked everything I need way back in January/February, knowing I won't be able to carry much - if anything - after surgery.
Who thought I'd be so right with my precautions!

And since I'm FINALLY back in my crafting corner, I already had to adjust the plain glove container into something more decorative. The round box I used is actually a tea-box, and a rather stable one, so I decided to cover it up with a sheet of patterned paper. I took a botanical print to match the greenery in the background, and added a simple cotton ribbon where the paper ends meet.
And while one tiny part looks decent, I still have quite some things to do until I'll be able to say the same about the rest of my apartment. But then again, without any visitors in sight, it doesn't really matter, does it? *looking towards my crafting supplies with thousands of ideas on my mind*

  5. I love your crafting style! I am always 'over the moon' when I can recycle and I tend to save all sorts of containers, just because they may come in useful! Love how you transformed the tea box into a pretty container for your gloves using the most beautiful leafy patterned paper and lace. This is perfect for your hallway and matches the vase of foliage - it's also perfect for our challenge at the Path of Positivity! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your project. x
