Hearts

Hello there! Can you believe the first month of 2017 is gone already? With the start of February, it's time to start yet another round at the Fadengrafik Challenge. For the next weeks, we'd love to see any of your stitched creations as our theme is "ATG". 
I for myself have chosen to go with hearts this time, and I actually picked the same pattern as last year. However, I used a different colour scheme and paper for the background to make sure it's not all the same :) 

Working with a card base made of recycled paper, I decided to make a transition from brown to red shades by using a background paper featuring scripture and a shimmering red cardboard behind the image that I stitched with shimmering yarns.

In the end, I placed a couple of gemstones on the swirls for a little more bling. 
As last year, I struggled with the amount of blank space left, but I decided to keep it that way and use it for a little dedication, or love note when necessary.
