Last bit of snow

Catching up on my crafting, too. As I'm still away from my crafting corner, I found this little snow guy in my stash recently. He was meant to invite you to join the January Fadengrafik Challenge, but between work and medical issues I just didn't have the time to give him the proper presentation.
Our theme for the month was "snowmen", and since I didn't use stitching on the snowman itself, I decided to decorate the winter card with a breeze of snowflakes in form of a stitched swirl which I then decorated with snowflakes, pearls and gems. 
I based the colour scheme on the cute snowman image, which I cut from a sheet of scrapbook paper. To add a little more depth, I glued it on a sheet of light blue paper. After that, I placed everything atop a strip of white corrugated cardboard - a left over from one of my previous crafting projects.
