Time flies

Can it be September already?
Thinking back of my school days, I could hardly wait for school to begin after a week or two of summer holidays. I'm not sure whether it has to do with getting older or being busy), but this summer has passed way too soon to m. Too soon to even be noticed. As I've been busy with practise through the summer months, I don't really expect autumn to be a change of routine, but this will certainly be the case for all the children entering school again.
With this in mind, September's Fadengrafik Challenge says "Back to school" with an optional ATG for those of you who are not so school-ish ;) The challenge runs til September 27th and this is a little card I prepared for inspiration. Obviously, it's a rather simple card, featuring a cute old-fashioned alarm clock. Since I can imagine that most kids aren't as eager as I used to be when it comes to school, it should be a little encouragement to start the new school year.
I stitched the motif with metallic yarn and combined it with a couple of rhinestones and blue background papers.
Turns out I'm not quite happy with how I arranged everything, but never mind. Time is running fast and I'm running late again. Late for exams and seminar tasks, late for applications, late for housework, late for organizing the rest of my summer school trip into blog posts. Actually, thanks to my laptop, which decided to die over the weekend, I'm even later than late.
Could someone p-l-e-a-s-e stop the clock for a little while?
