My DT card for the month is another leftover from the exhibition that features a stitched pattern of silver swirls which I embellished with tiny white pearls.
I placed the cardboard on a silver background paper that serves as a border and fixed it all on a white/cream background paper with tiny silver hearts.
Even though the card has no recipient yet, it therefore comes closer to a wedding card than one for a baby. And who knows, maybe the empty space in the middle is perfect for the names of a couple of newlyweds?
A little contribution to the May collection of Create in Austria – artwork created by Austrians and/or in Austria.
And just as I thought I'd post a rather short text today, I happened to find wonderful lily of the valley at the flower market. Still, I honestly wasn't really looking for them.
Being particularly mad at people who don't keep agreements, I guess I just needed a bit of fresh air to distract me, and since I had to do my grocery shopping anyway, the central market turned out to be the perfect place to go. And somewhere between buzzing people and colourful vegetables, the smell of those little blooms seduced me - just like it does every year :)
As the bouquets for sale were rather small, I ecided to buy two and combine them in an empty compote glass...... And at some point, I realized that certain kind people just aren't worth bothering, no matter how right I might be.
A contribution to the Friday Flowerday at Holunderbluetchen.
