Except that it's this time of year again, when over the lavender bushes spreads the wonderful scent of lavender...
I made quite a project with lavender fagots a couple of years ago for my adopted mom, but then I missed the tiny blossoms a few years in a row. Bummer.
However, I managed to get a bouquet of lavender at the flower market the other day, so I could work with lavender again :) You just have to love this scent that spreads all over the apartment each time the stems slip through your finger...
The trio of fagots I present today is braided with thin satin ribbon in violet shades, and decorated with a bow and a flower. I'm not sure whether I'll use them to scent my clothes, they're almost too pretty to be locked in a wardrobe. A gift maybe? Or a decoration which you can rub between your fingers from time to time, to remember those warm summer days and the scent of summer...
